Question 7
This is the video that I have made about all the films I have made this year. I have learnt certain things such as:
- Checking the continuity to make sure it flows smoothly and there is nothing in the background of any of the shots.
- We learnt how to use different shot types such as close ups to show the significance of something and an extreme long shot to show isolation.
- I also learnt how to work as a team and make the communication between our group was good.

Question 7
This video is showing what I have learnt from my AS media. Overall, the main points I have learnt from the films that i have made are:
- To make sure you always take into account continuity and check that you don't leave any kind of equipment in the back of a shot.
- How to use lots of different shots effectively.
- How to work in a team and also to make sure you stay in contact with the people you are using for your film regularly.
Matthew Collins Question 6 - Prezi
What have learnt about technologies from my media project?! on Prezi
This is my Prezi on the technologies I have learnt about throughout this media course. We learnt how to use a video camera to record our film, the main things for the camera were the focus and the white balance. We then had to learn how to use iMovie to edit our film. We also needed to learn to use Garage Band to make the soundtrack to our film. I picked up on how to use these easily.

Question 3 (abby's evaluation)
We used this poster for inspiration because its from a slasher movie (the same genre as our film). We liked the font of the title and the idea of pictures of the characters but we used a screen shot of the characters with their backs to us so the threat isn't revealed until you watch the film.
I liked this movie poster because the threat isn't revealed, you know she is female but don't know her features or her story. I also liked the references to the noose, its hanging at the bottom of the P in April Fool's Day and her hair is also shaped like a noose, implying a noose will be involved in a death in this film.
Here is another movie poster, I didn't want to use this as inspiration as I thought it gave away too much about the threat and the weapon! I did like the tag line though, 'You've made it through Halloween, now try and survive Christmas.' which can be seen as a reference to the movie Halloween.

Our target audience will be young males and females that can relate to our victim! One clip of our film which will relate to our target audience is males and females 18-25, the normal audience for a slasher would be males but i think a female would be able to relate to the female threat making it scarier. One part of the film which attracts our target audience is the clip when the threat grabs the victim from behind, its scary because the audience know its coming but have no way of stopping it which creates tension.
