We have done a lot of research into the film seven, we feel its title sequence has reflected the genre by a variety of methods. One thing is the guy writing his journal in the title sequence is self harming, by filing his finger tips of (to prevent getting caught). Also he draws pictures of how he will kill his victims, this is all relatable to a slasher movie because you have a threat and someone will be killed.
