EVALUATION OF FIRST SHOOT

This is the edited footage of our first shoot. It is only the titles of our film as we filmed the opening on a different day. Overall, the filming of the titles went very well and there wasn't really anything that we struggled with.

The camerawork used in our titles went quite well. we feel we used a variety of shot types and also used enough close ups to show the audience what is happening properly. However, four our camerawork, there are a few shots that are not entirely steady, this could be improved.

The editing works well as there are no continuity errors and it helps build tension because people would be wondering what the threat is doing.

For our opening we thought about mise en scene a lot. For the lighting, we decided to make it kind of dark so that it was a little bit more mysterious. For the costume, we decided to dress our threat in dark clothing and gave him a mask as both these things fit in with the conventions of our film genre, we also used a male character to fit in with conventions of our genre. For props we used things like the scissors, notice board and lighter to make it obvious that our threat was a little strange and what he was doing was strange too.
